About Us
Funutation Tekademy teaches children (girls and boys) aged 8 to 15 the skills they need to compete in this rapidly changing computer-oriented society.  We provide a stimulating environment that challenges their minds. First and foremost, we teach the concept of TEAMWORK.

We bring the laptops, software, and trained instructors - your child shows up to have fun and learn. Your child goes home at the end of the course with a copy of their project and workbook.

Our Mission
In the current social and educational climate, kids regularly fall victim to apathy. There are many choices available for those who excel in athletics or the arts, but little for students who are interested in other paths. Funutation's primary goal is to provide students with an opportunity to learn technology skills that will empower and prepare them for the path they choose.

Our curriculum is developed regularly reviewed by qualified professionals in relevant fields with years of practical experience applying that knowledge to real-world problems. Our curriculum team carefully reviews and adjusts our programs to make them most powerful learning experiences available for kids.

Our Staff
Our instructors either possess or are working towards a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in technology, animation, programming, or science. Our instructors teach classes in our year-round programs or have taught in previous summers. They are trained in CPR by the American Red Cross and know how to work with kids who have various disabilities such as Asperger syndrome and ADHD.

Educational Benefits
We teach and reinforce a number of important life skills. Problem solving, attention to detail, logic, applied math, and reading comprehension are among the vital skills learned in our classes. Mastery and continued practice of these skills an important contributor to a child's success.

• 20 years of worldwide technical training with General Motors, Ford Motor Company, U.S. Tank Command Center, Silicon Graphics, Sun Microsystems, Chrysler, NASA, automotive suppliers, Learning Tree International, and various universities.
• Certified as an instructor and administrator for Solaris, Linux, TRIZ, and other related certifications

About seven years ago, IT consultant Ted Jordan was giving a presentation on home computer security when a parent approached him and asked him if he offered computer camps for children. From that conversation sprung Funutation Tekademy LLC.
